Layer by layer for maximum performance

With the layering system, your iXS gear adapts flexibly to every ride. Each layer fulfills a clear purpose: weather protection, warmth, or climate regulation. So, you can focus on what matters most: riding. Simple. Efficient. Made for you.

Layer 1: Body climate (base layer)

Breathable functional underwear wicks away moisture, keeps you dry, and stabilizes your body climate—the basis for every adventure.

Layer 2: Insulation (mid layer)

A lightweight fleece mid layer provides insulation when it gets cold—flexible, warm, and breathable.

Layer 3: Protection (airbag)

At the center is the iXS IPRO 1.0 airbag vest—the heart of the system. Worn as a midlayer, it offers state-of-the-art impact protection and can save lives in an emergency.

Layer 4: Outer layer (motorcycle jacket)

The motorcycle jacket forms the outer layer and offers abrasion-resistant protection with protectors. Depending on the model, it features a GORE-TEX® or solto-TEX® membrane for weather protection – or an air version with ventilation for optimal air circulation. Thanks to X-Stretch material, it always fits perfectly, with or without an airbag.

Layer 5: Weather protection

The optional weather protection layer made of 3-layer laminate is lightweight, stretchy, and compact for storage. Waterproof and windproof – ideal for rain, wind, or cold conditions.
