iXS GRAVITY ALLIANCE 2026

The iXS Gravity Alliance is far more than a sponsorship program – it is a community of up-and-coming talents and experienced riders who all have one thing in common: they are passionate mountain bikers who live, love and want to develop the sport of MTB. The crew combines experience and potential, speed and style, competition and friendship.

Whether in downhill, enduro or slopestyle – the Alliance athletes embody what has always driven iXS: progression, camaraderie and the ambition to make every run better than the last. Many of them have already gained experience in the iXS Downhill Cups or the iXS Rookies Cup, the most important springboards for young racers on their path to international competition.

The Gravity Alliance offers athletes another platform to support them in their next steps. It’s not just about winning – it’s about growing. About learning from one another. And about pushing the boundaries of what’s possible together.

Get to know the people who make up the Gravity Alliance here: their stories, their motivation and their passion for mountain biking. Because every member represents a part of the MTB scene as it is: genuine, committed and a fantastic community.

Our downhill athletes

  • Wyn Masters

    Age: 38

    Country: New Zealand

In downhill racing, the name Wyn Masters has always been associated with the Privateer Programme, because nurturing talent is a real priority for him. In fact, Wyn bears a fair share of the ‘blame’ for the creation of the iXS Gravity Alliance.

  • Dominik Gradnitzer

    Age: 24

    Country: Austria

The young Austrian has ambitious goals: to become a professional cyclist and secure a top-20 finish at the 2028 World Championships in his home town of Leogang. This is by no means out of the question for him: his times are steadily closing in on the hot seat.

  • Šimun Juras

    Age: 17

    Country: Croatia

For Simon, 2026 marks the transition from U17 to U19. He is supported not only by iXS, but also by the Croatian national team. We’re not the only ones who’ve noticed his potential…

  • Maja Schmidlkofer

    Age: 19

    Country: Switzerland

Looking at Maja’s results from the 2025 season, it’s hard to believe she’s only been mountain biking for three years: first in the overall standings of the 2024 Swiss Downhill Series. Second in Switzerland in 2025 and second overall in the 2025 iXS Downhill Cup. Did someone say talent?

  • Seth Barnett

    Age: 24

    Country: Great Britain

2026 will be his first season in the elite category. But the 2025 British Junior Downhill Champion can tackle it with the confidence to match. His goal: the World Cup. What else?

  • Sara Scholz

    Age: 13

    Country: Austria

Just 13 years old, two-time Austrian downhill champion in her age group and runner-up at the 2025 International Rookies World Champs: Sara’s path is leading steeply upwards – on her downhill bike, of course.

  • Kevin Randall

    Age: 16

    Country: Ireland

Described as – and not without a reason – as an Irish prodigy who will make it to the World Cup. Dominated the Irish national downhill races in 2025 – and plans to compete at European level in 2026.

  • Luke Williamson

    Age: 23

    Country: Great Britain

The 2025 British Downhill runner-up and eighth overall in the 2025 iXS European Downhill Cup has his sights set on the Downhill World Cups. He lives not far from Wyn Masters’ home – and often gets to enjoy joint training runs.

  • Mika Schnaars

    Age: 11

    Country: Germany

At just 11 years old, Mika already has some impressive results under his belt: in 2024, he finished second at the International Rookie World Championships in Schladming (U11). Now he wants to prove himself in the U13 class – and he will!

  • Marlena Rieger

    Age: 17

    Country: Germany

As the reigning German runner-up (U19) in both Downhill AND Enduro, Marlena has one main goal: the World Cup. She has already achieved some notable successes there. Watch out!

  • Lea Stornebel

    Age: 21

    Country: Germany

Lea was already part of the iXS Gravity Alliance in 2025 – and we’re delighted that she’s back in the crew for 2026. After winning the overall title in the 2024 iXS Downhill Cup, she faced much tougher competition in 2025 – and is therefore determined to go all out again in 2026.

Our enduro riders

  • Charlie Murray

    Age: 29

    Country: New Zealand

Quite apart from his sporting successes as an enduro rider, Charlie is, above all, one thing: versatile. He always has a say in the Enduro World Cup when it comes to the podium. On freeride skis, he is also among the best in the world. And he is only too happy to pass all this on to the next generation. For us, he’s a perfect fit!

  • Hannah Freeman

    Age: 18

    Country: New Zealand

The young New Zealand enduro rider is a true Kiwi: although she has few race results to her name so far, her riding potential is rated all the higher by Charlie Murray and other New Zealand enduro greats.

Our slopestyle and freeride athletes

  • Sam Reynolds

    Age: 34

    Country: Great Britain

The Mad Professor, aka Master of DarkFest, has been part of the iXS team for years – and is a key ambassador and talent scout for the sport of freeriding. If you don’t believe it, just ask Harry Gascoyne. Or Sam himself: ‘Accessible’ is his middle name.

  • Clara Halmageanu

    Age: 18

    Country: Germany

The colour purple is the young freerider’s trademark, but anyone who thinks that’s all she’s about is in for a surprise: Clara is on the verge of applying her trick repertoire to big freeride jumps. We’ll just say: Evo Bike Park.

  • Harry Gascoyne

    Age: 21

    Country: Great Britain

The 21-year-old Briton has already gained experience on one of the biggest stages in freeride sport: he won a wildcard for Sam Reynolds’ DarkFest 2026 – and, as a result, was accepted into the iXS Gravity Alliance.

  • Ihan Patino

    Age: 22

    Country: Argentina

This young Argentian has already made a name for himself on the freeride scene in 2024: a video titled “All or Nothing” offers a glimpse into his skill set, his courage and his uncompromising attitude. But it also shows just how important a helmet and protective gear can be…
